A Sport For The Mind

Today I am going to talk about one of the biggest muscles in your body and one of the best ways to compete using it. Your brain is the most important muscle in your body and is sadly the most under used muscle today. Then again that is just my opinion. The sport of the mind is chess, and it is a beautiful meeting of the minds. A mental battle of who can read their opponents moves better. A war fought with little plastic pieces. Watching someone play this game can say tons about them. If they rush head first you know they are aggressive, if they are slow and take their time you know they are a reactive person. Ad if they change their style....well the  you know you have witnessed a master in the making.

Inside Out

This is a good example of your perspective. The shadow the apple is casting is much darker then out eyes know it should be so this photo stands out more to us, we want to examine it and figure out its secrets, what makes it so special that it can change the normal way things are. That in itself says a lot about how we human being are. We long for normality and when we see something that isn't normal we wish to examine it and find out what makes it different or even just admire its difference from us.

Its almost funny how much you can tell about someone just from small everyday actions. The glimpses you can get into ones head and psyche when they make small seemingly inconsequent choices is quite astounding and it was one of the biggest reasons why I always prefer to watch instead of act. The things one can learn observing are almost limitless. Something as simple as ones perspective can tell you what they think, glass half empty or glass half full for example.
